Psalm 16:5

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

God's Warth is Coming... Are You Ready?

You had better listen to the words of Jesus, “Not everyone who says to me Lord, Lord, shall enter, but he that does the will of my father in heaven.” If ye by the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the flesh, ye shall live. If you live after the flesh, you’ll die! The cross does not give us a minor shift or two with regard to a few of our ethical and religious values. The cross radically disrupts the very center and citadel of your life from self to Christ. And if the cross has not done that, YOU’RE NOT A CHRISTIAN! My Friend face it, young rogue, you’re not a Christian until the cross has radically disrupted the very center and citadel of your life! And brought you from a life of commitment to serve self…What are the focal points of the reign of your self? If you’ve gone to the cross in union with Christ, it’s been shattered!"

The Law of God - Thoughts from the Book of Proverbs

Along our road trip, we have gone over various passages of Scripture. One set of verses was from Proverbs 28.

Pro 28:4, 7, 9, "They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them... Whoso keepeth the law is a wise son: but he that is a companion of riotous men shameth his father... He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination."

The Grand Canyon - Testimony to the Power of God

Greetings from Tulsa, OK - well, near their anyhow. I guess we are actually in Claremore.

After our Phoenix conference, we drove north and stopped at the majestic Grand Canyon for a couple of hours. What a site!

The Pacific Coast to the Deserts of Arizona - Part 5

David got this big bouquet for his wife. She thought it was a little on the prickly side...

This is actually a straight road so the RV's are in a line not side by side.
Welcome to Phoenix. It was a blazing 108 degrees the first day.

Notice the big road signs. I wish other states would label roads like this. It is a whole lot easier to find and read than looking for these tiny little green signs hidden tacked on a light pole.

Off to the Grand Canyon!

The Pacific Coast to the Deserts of Arizona - Part 4

At Mr. Brown's sisters home in LA, some of the guys played on a trampoline. Peter asked if Nick Ruiz had any tricks. Boy were we surprised when he walked through the air and then jumped into the middle of the trampoline!

Peter Bradrick and Juan getting ready to duel... First man to grab and shoot wins!
Peter loses and Juan jumps for joy.

Looking across the Colorado river into Arizona.
The barren landscape of the Arizona desert.

End of post because I am out of time.

Can you bend YOUR feet that way?

Sea fog closing in.

The mountainous coast of California.

Welcome to LA...

Christmas lights on a palm tree... That is a new sight!

End of post 3.
